My DC Original Character: Dusk Gem aka Shadowhound

dusk gem is known as Shadowhound, a new addition to the bat family. he forms a group of vigilantes called the relevant 4, which consists of himself, Bronze Falcon, Shracco the laser clown, and the Reddler. he lives out his life in Wayne manor along side oracle and Nightwing having them both take care of them. Nightwing was Dusk's
Mentor and father figure and oracle was like a mother figure to him. he also has a relationship with Kara Zor-EL aka super girl much to superman's dismay, she acts as both a friend, a partner and a lover all wrapped in one  . Dusk is constantly mocked by his arch nemesis jester, pointing out how the world he can still fight crime at such a weak state ,still, has him flat on his ass every time. As Shadowhound, he has many tools at his arsenal, including his Bo Staff and replications of the electricutioners gloves along side having hound knives and wrist darks.

dusk surprisingly is not from earth but from the planet Elpis, which is home to the blue lantern core. He was born to two agents of that core
names being Garnet Gem and Sapphire gem. Dusk was about 17 when his home planet was invaded by the rageful, red lantern core and its
leader atrocious. to protect there son, Garnet and sapphire aided saint walker into teleporting there son to earth. as he landed on earth his memory
was completely wiped and was found in a crater with only blue jeans and a white sweater. the person to find him was the legendary superman and supergirl
the first time he opened his eyes all he could see is the grass, trees and kara looking back at him.

"Is this Heaven?" Muttered Dusk

"No". supergirl replied "this is earth", she looked into his eyes. "what's your name"

he replied "Dusk"......... but that's all he could remember.

dusk is a kind of guy that's serious but can be naïve and laid back. he respects the bat family and Batman entirely .he doesn't get along with superman considering the fact that he's in love with supergirl. To Kara, he does the best and anything he can to make her happy, but when, she does get mad he has a mild kryptonite stone in his gloves to make sure he doesn't get killed or anyone else, letting him to calm her down. but the man of steel still resents the guy and threatens him if he broke her heart.

Superman: if you ever break her fragile heart, I will make you will wish you haven't met me.

to his villains, he can be brutal but can show mercy, even to people like mister freeze and dead shot, because of the  but to joker and jester he just wants to bust there faces in
because of the sick stuff they had done in the past, jester mainly, because his words bother him so bad. dusk wants to knock him out or to the ground.

jester: hey going back to your supergirl, trust me when your gone ill have my fun with her HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.( dusk breaks jesters nose)

dusk: shut up,you sick bastard.

when it all comes down to it, he always wants to fight on the side of good and has the strongest morality curve out of the bat family.



after the events of brightest day. he becomes a blue lantern once again and defeats atrocious. but sacrifices his blue lantern powers to be with supergirl
on earth. during injustice universe he kills regime Manchester black and fights jester in an all out war. during war with darkseid. he fought darkseid's sons but defeats them both. during Arkham series he works with Nightwing to fight jester and batman's villains once again.


his final wish is to be with Kara Zor-El forever and to resurrect krypton by Remaking it on an inhabitable version of the moon
